The Jebel Toubkal trek, Morocco is the ideal itinerary to do over a weekend as your trek will take 3 days. It is also the perfect choice for those who enjoy a strenuous challenge within a limited time. Your trek begins in Imil where you will ascend to Refuge Nelter 3200m via Sidi Chamharouch 2310m, a pre-Islamic saint's mausoleum. The following morning you will have an early wake up call of 5am in order to climb to the summit of Jebel Toubkal 4167m. Toubkal is the highest peak in Morocco and Western Africa and the views from here are breathe taking. You will trek back down to the refuge to take a well earnt rest and stay overnight. On day 5 you will retrace your steps back down to Imil and be transfered back to Marrakech in the afternoon, giving you the opportunity to explore the souks of De Jemma El Fna in the evening.
